Delicious sourdough and Artisan baked goods from Baked by Kieran!
Every week at Bulli Showground Markets we like to showcase some of the best stalls that NSW has to offer. We have stalls in attendance from all over, some are just stopping by and others find their home with us. Today we're taking some time to look at our favourite boulangerie and patisserie; Baked by Kieran!
As the name suggests everything on display is Baked by Kieran himself; who trained under Jamie Oliver, Tim Aitken, and Australia's own Neil Perry. He has been honing his craft as a baker for more than 15 years, and after completing his training and gaining his qualifications he started this passion project and has been inundated with awards and accolades ever since! His 72 hour sourdough serving as the cornerstone of his philosophy of attention to detail.
It's not just sourdough he excels at; doughnuts stuffed with delicious preserves - the nutella ones always sell out so fast! canelles that melt in your mouth, a rhubarb slice that's to die for; fruit loaf that's the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea; and it's all freshly baked. The sourdough has become a staple in many houses, as customers are heard to frequently remark on the quality of his range.
His technique is exceptional, and the attention to details obvious across his stall. What's more is that it's a family run operation and it shows. You're always welcomed with a smile and a friendly conversation - and on certain weekends you may even find Soo'z Fashions in tow with the Baked by Kieran crew - she's Kieran's very fashionable Mum; and her vintage fashions always have something unique in stock.
We love the diverse range of stalls that are starting to make Bulli Showground Markets a permanent fixture, and we're even happier when our stallholders sell out of their ranges, which is happening at Baked by Kieran with increasing frequency.
